IT之家7月23日报道称，苹果从未明确公布iPhone的电池容量，其电池寿命通常比上一代iPhone增加1或2小时。苹果可以同时制造硬件和软件，并对其设备进行微调，以尽可能高效地运行。有时较新的iPhone型号的电池容量比上一代更小，因为新的芯片带来了更好的功耗性能。
苹果iPhone电池的细节一般会通过拆解来展示。随着智能手机的发展，iPhone手机的电池容量通常是越来越大，但还没有突破5000mAh。目前电池最大，续航表现最好的可能是iPhone 13 Pro Max，最大容量4352mAh。而iPhone原厂电池容量为1400mAh，iPhone 3G电池容量为1150mAh，iPhone 3GS电池容量为1219mAh。
