小美人鱼
小美人鱼，不像其它童话中的女主角那么幸运，在儿童文学中，她是一个悲剧形象，也是安徒生在童话中树立的一个尖锐，生动的形象。

小美人鱼拥有自己的花园，其他公主都种上了自己收集的奇异的珍宝，但小美人鱼的花园里面只有一座王子的雕像。由此可见，小美人鱼渴望被爱，她想同真正的人类恋爱，喜欢听所有人类的故事。
