《哈利路亚》是莫扎特不满17岁时，应歌唱家拉乌乔尼之邀，于1773年1月17日写成。
“哈利路亚”，原为《旧约·诗篇》的第一句，是希伯莱语对上帝的赞美词。原意为“赞美上帝之歌”，是基督教的欢呼语，常用于清唱剧结尾的段落。
《阿里路亚》虽然表现的是欢乐赞美的情绪，却显得精巧别致，曲调流畅、欢快活泼。
