二、n是名词的意思：
英语名词（Noun）可以从形式上进行分类，英语名词可以划分成专有名词和普通名词两大类。从意义上划分，英语名词可分为个体名词、集体名词、物质名词和抽象名词四类。
一般来说，个体名词可以用数目来计算，称为可数名词（Countable Nouns）。物质名词、抽象名词和专有名词无法用数目来计算，称为不可数名词（Uncountable Nouns）。集合名词有的可数，有的不可数。
三、vt是及物动词的意思：
在英语中按动词后可否直接跟宾语，可以把动词分成两种:及物动词与不及物动词。字典里词后标有vt 的就是及物动词，字典里词后标有vi 的就是不及物动词。不及物动词后不能直接跟有动作的对象(即宾语)，若要跟宾语，必须先在其后添加上某个介词，如to,of ,at后方可跟上宾语。及物动词可直接跟宾语。
四、vi是不及物动词的意思：
