词曲作者找了很久才找到，大部分网页是用的various，中文就是集体创作。google很久以后才发现原作词是Bruce Woodley和Dobe Newton，作曲是Bruce Woodley。他们两个是60年代一帮年轻人在墨尔本专门发展澳洲民谣歌曲的组织the seekers的成员。The Seekers成立后不断在澳洲有所成就而且在美国和英国各地的排行榜上也大红大紫，其中最著名的成员是歌手Judith Durham。1964年11月发行的I'll never find another you同时在英国澳洲排行第一在美国排第4，卖掉一百7十5万张唱片，成为澳洲历史上第一个在3个国家同时上榜前5名的乐队。1967年这个乐队还被授予当年的最佳澳大利亚人奖（Australians of the year），同年在墨尔本的演唱会吸引了20万人参加，又创造了当时的澳大利亚最多人参加演唱会纪录。

我知道现在的国歌叫"前进,美丽的澳大利亚"
澳洲国歌是1984年订立的 ，之前用的是英国国歌。这首歌是1878年的作品，当时澳洲仍未立国，还是各自为政的多个殖民地，这歌有点宣传统一立国的意味。原装歌词在定为国歌前经过修改，例如首句本来是Australia's sons let us rejoice 改为没有性别歧视的 Australian all let us rejoice 有几段关于卫国杀敌，忠于英国的词被删，变成宣扬澳洲大地大自然的正面歌曲。曾有传闻最初的第二句是充满种族歧视的 For we are white and free。不过最后这点已被证实不正确。
