With the development of China's aerospace industry, the number of satellites in orbit increases every year. Series of satellites in orbit, the model is more abundant, operating life continued to grow, the increasing complexity of control, to the ground control data management and fault detection and treatment have brought pressure to protect the security and stability of the satellite to run, the need to establish multi-spacecraft alarm, fault diagnosis system, effectively improve the assurance of safe operation of the satellite in orbit, the ability of satellites in orbit to reduce risk and improve the reliability of the satellite in orbit.

Satellite power system is a key sub-systems, power supply abnormalities will endanger the whole star work. In order to ensure the safe operation of power systems, the use of multiple redundant measures design, such as unusual, timely treatment can reduce losses to a minimum. based on a geostationary satellite for the study, hierarchical fault diagnosis method using a satellite power system fault diagnosis system. In power system fault diagnosis, fault alarm and diagnosis is the key device parameters to determine the normal value, is the basis for alarm diagnosis. A sound alarm diagnostic system performance parameters need to analyze the variation of power supply, provide accurate normal as possible, to avoid false negative and false positives.
